Compact filter valve control, preferably for 110/230 VAC and 24 VAC AC valves, but also suitable for 24 VDC DC valves. Adjustable pulse and interval times and control input, e.g. for our differential pressure controller types: DDD, DDU and DPQ. Up to 25 valve outputs in one device, expandable.
Examples: JET - Filter systems, where the filters are cleaned by compressed air pulses via air valves.
In case of low filter contamination - filter clean - the TFS-12 runs with the long INTERVAL 2 - also switchable - which can be set between 5 s - 60 min and provides occasional cleaning PULSES, which are separately programmable for INTERVAL 1 and 2 of 20 ms - 5 s. The PULSE are indicated by LEDs. The pulse and interval times can be set very precisely via the keyboard.
If the filter contamination increases, an external contact (bridge terminal 11 and 15) can be used to switch to the shorter INTERVAL 1 and the filter is cleaned in shorter intervals. Alternatively, a 24 VDC signal at terminals 11 and 14, e.g. from a PLC, can be used to switch to INTERVAL 1.
A potential-free relay contact ALARM is available for collective fault signal. The LED ALARM additionally signals the ALARM optically.
The filter valve control unit TFS-12 is available with up to 25 valve outputs in one unit. If more valve outputs are required, several TFS-12 can be connected in series (expander operation).
The robust relay outputs for the valves are protected by fuses against overload, e.g. by valve short circuit.
With TRANS-FILTER-SCANNER TFS-12 controlled cleaning process, a longer service life for the filters and economical use of energy is achieved. Compressed air for cleaning is saved, an economical operation of the filter system and the system aggregates becomes possible.
