Short transient (in the range of milliseconds) pressure peaks at the input of the Pressure-Peak-Dampener DSD, as they are present in plants with liquids flowing and causing permanent damage of plant components, are damped by the Pressure-Peak-Dampener DSD and are present then at the output in a decreased manner.
