Compact Δp - CONTROL - FILTER - SCANNER DFS-12 with a multitude of functions to be programmed, which leaves nothing to be desired for the economic operation of a modern filter system.
Examples: JET - Filter systems, where the filters are cleaned by compressed air pulses via air valves.
The filter contamination is measured as differential pressure and shown on the display. At low differential pressure - filter clean - the DFS-12 runs with a long interval 2 - which can also be switched off - that can be set between 5 s - 60 min and provides occasional cleaning pulses that can be programmed separately for each interval 1-4 from 20 ms - 5 s. The IMPULSES are indicated by the LED CONTROL. All pulse and interval times can be set very precisely via the keyboard.
If the differential pressure increases with the filter contamination, when the CONTROL max switch point is reached, INTERVAL 1 - programmable from 5 - 999 s - is switched on and the filter is cleaned in shorter intervals, whereby the differential pressure drops and when the Δp switch point CONTROL min is reached, the long INTERVAL 2 is switched on again. If the differential pressure does not drop during operation with the cleaning interval 1 contrary to expectations due to increased dust accumulation or other causes and thus the differential pressure continues to rise, INTERVAL 3 - programmable from 5 - 999 s - is switched on when a second CONTROL above-max switching point is reached in order to achieve even more intensive cleaning.
A programmable Δp damping reduces the influence of turbulences on the Δp measurement, which is additionally completely suspended for the time of the compressed air cleaning pulse. If the differential pressure rises or falls due to faulty cleaning or compressed air problems, this condition can be signalled by a relay for which two Δp switching points - ALARM max and min - can be programmed. The LED ALARM visually signals the ALARM.
With Δp-CONTROL-FILTER-SCANNER DFS-12 controlled cleaning process, a longer service life for the filters and economical use of energy is achieved. Compressed air for cleaning is saved, an economical operation of the filter system and the system aggregates becomes possible.
A secondary cleaning as an intensive cleaning cycle - I-C-C with PULSE 4 and INTERVAL 4 - begins with the process air switched off, which is sensed via a further programmable Δp switching point I-C-C. The number of cleaning cycles still to be completed is programmable from 0 - 200. At the end of the I-C-C- the DFS-12 switches off and starts cleaning again when the process air is switched on again.
